Cobra Pose
This pose is fun! Lie face down, hands by your chest. Lift your upper body and move forward while hissing.
Tree Pose
Try this balancing pose! Stand straight, focus, place your right leg on your left thigh or calf, raise your hands in 'namaskar,' and hold.
Modified Triangle Pose
Stretching is always beneficial for children and adults alike. This yoga pose stretches the entire body well.
Stand straight and spread the legs and arms to the sides. Exhale and slowly start sliding the right hand down the right leg keeping the left hand overhead.
Slowly come up after holding the pose for about 15 seconds. Repeat the same on the other side. It is important to keep the back straight, and shoulders, hips, and knees well aligned.
All these yoga poses are of great help for hyperactive and attention-seeking kids. They help children in directing their energy and impulses in a positive way and in the right direction.
Treating rigidity through yoga is a practice that has been implemented since ancient times, and has proved to be very beneficial as well. The tree pose and the modified triangle pose help children calm down, and also infuse confidence and balance in them.
